I am a Saskatchewan mixed media artist inspired by backstories of the real, odd and fantastic. I like to tell stories through art. Whimsy can have deep roots and the serious can be playful. “Everybody and everything has a story.”
No material/media is off limits. Acrylics, oils, inks, image transfers, collage, wax, fabric and found items. Once I decide how to tell the story I choose the media that will best communicate my intention.
I am mostly self-taught with the help of many talented and skillful art instructors who shared their skills at various classes/workshops.
